The qoliber open source manifesto

We build it.
We share it.

Good software should give more people a place to start. That is why we build free Magento modules, open-source PHP libraries and developer tools — and put them in your hands.

Built for our work. Shared for yours.

01 / What we believe

An ecosystem grows
when we give back.

qoliber is a Magento extension vendor. We are also developers who believe that a healthy ecosystem needs people willing to build things everyone can use.

Every Magento store stands on shared work: a platform, a language, libraries and the knowledge of thousands of developers. Our business exists because that foundation exists. Contributing to it is part of how we choose to do business.

That contribution reaches beyond free extensions. We publish libraries that solve problems across PHP applications. We build tools that make Magento development easier. And we share focused modules that help teams get everyday work done.

A useful idea should be able to travel further than the project that inspired it. When another developer can read it, adapt it or build something better with it, the work has a second life. That is the point.

02 / Open-source PHP libraries

Small building blocks.
Bigger possibilities.

The best tools earn their place in more than one codebase. These libraries are free to use beyond Magento, wherever your PHP project needs them.

qoliber/djson

DJson

JSON that works with your data.

Build dynamic JSON with variables, loops and conditions while preserving data types. Use it for API responses, structured data or configuration: one reusable PHP library for the places your data needs to go.

qoliber/tsuku

Tsukuru

Your data. The format you need.

Published as Tsuku, this PHP templating library turns data into CSV, XML, JSON and other text formats. Loops, conditions and custom functions help developers build exports and integrations without starting a template engine from scratch.

qoliber/calculon

Calculon

Give your formulas a proper home.

Parse and evaluate mathematical expressions in PHP, with variables, functions and an extensible syntax tree. Calculon provides the calculation engine so you can focus on the business rules that make your application useful.

03 / Free Magento developer tools

Better days
at the keyboard.

A working local environment. A clearer picture of a slow store. We build practical tools for the problems Magento developers and agencies meet every day.

Local development

MageBox

Your next Magento project starts here.

MageBox brings native PHP and Nginx together with Docker-based supporting services for local Magento development. Manage project environments and PHP versions with a tool built around the way Magento developers work.

MageScan

Start with a clearer picture.

MageScan is a free website scanner for Magento, Mage-OS and Adobe Commerce. Explore a store’s speed, technology stack and configuration to find useful starting points for investigation. No signup is required to run a scan.

04 / Free Magento extensions

Useful work.
Out in the open.

Sometimes the biggest improvement is one less repetitive task. Our public Magento modules bring that idea into deployments, test catalogs, database exports and day-to-day operations.

Data Patch Creator

Turn CMS pages, blocks, configuration and product attributes into PHP data patches from Magento Admin. Keep those changes in version control and carry them between environments.

Catalog Generator

Create sample products, categories and store structures from YAML configuration. Give development and testing environments a catalog that is built for the job.

DbDumper

Prepare Magento database exports with configurable table groups, filters and anonymisation rules. Shape the data you bring into development around the needs of your project.

Cloudflare Cache Cleaner

Clear Cloudflare cache from the Magento command line. A focused, open-source module that puts a routine operational task into a familiar workflow.

This is a selection, not the whole story. Find more projects, source code and contribution channels on GitHub.

Make the next contribution yours

Use it. Question it.
Make it better.

You do not have to buy a qoliber extension to be part of this work. Start with a project that solves a problem you have.

Read the open-source documentation
Can I use these projects for free?

Yes. The projects featured here are available at no charge. Each project has its own license; its repository and documentation explain the terms for use, modification and redistribution.

Are the PHP libraries only for Magento?

No. DJson, Tsuku and Calculon are standalone PHP libraries. They can be used in other PHP applications that meet their requirements. Magento is where much of our work begins, but useful code can serve a wider community.

How can I contribute?

Open the project’s repository and read its contribution guidance. A reproducible bug report, a documentation improvement, a test or a pull request can all help. Share what you learn so the next developer has a better starting point.

How does this fit with paid extensions?

We build commercial Magento extensions and we publish free community projects. Both are part of qoliber. Our public tools and libraries are available whether you are a customer, a partner or a developer who has just found us.

Our contribution. Your next starting point.

We give it
away.

When you choose a Magento extension vendor, look at what they put back into the ecosystem. At qoliber, you can see it in the code: free modules, reusable libraries and tools that help other developers build.

We are proud to sell Magento extensions. We are just as proud to give useful software away.
